John Burke (1922-2011) was once born in Sussex and served within the Royal Air strength and Royal Marines in the course of global battle . He wrote numerous crime novels and thrillers less than the names Jonathan Burke, J.F. Burke and John Burke, together with Swift Summer (1949), which gained the Atlantic Award in Literature. a few of his different novels seemed lower than the pseudonyms of Joanna Jones, Sara Morris, Jonathan George and Owen Burke.
